Introducing
Miss Daisy
Hi, my name is Daisy, and I am a six-year-old female buff cocker spaniel with white facial markings, that just loves everyone. I do have a medical issue that I am going to have looked at and will get back to you all as soon as I get back from the doctor's appointment on Friday this week, stay tuned.
Ok, I'm back from my appointment and here is my prognosis. I suffered a herniated disc injury in the summer of 2020. I have partially recovered from this injury but have limited control over my hind legs intermittently. Sometimes they are a little wobbly. This does not limit me from going out for short walks or playing for short periods.
The next mountain I need to climb, excuse the pun, has to do with a severe infection in my urinary tract with possible kidney stone(s). I will be on antibiotics for 30 days or so. My next appointment will be with Las Vegas Cocker Rescue's primary care vet to evaluate my progress. Paws crossed for a quick recovery.
The rescue folks were so amazed at how I listen and obey commands. Following my recovery period, I will be a great companion for some lucky adopter.
