"to PROTECT and SAVE"
Since the Las Vegas Cocker Rescue does not have a physical shelter we depend on our volunteers and fosters who are the lifeblood of our organization.
If you have ever asked yourself what you can do to help the Las Vegas Cocker Rescue, why not be a volunteer. We are always in need of volunteers who can help with the following:
FOSTERING - This will be one of the most rewarding things you will ever do. Temporarily care for the rescued cocker in your home until a forever home is found. Without fosters LVCR is limited to the number of cockers we can save. LVCR will pay for any approved medical costs, and all you need to provide is a loving and safe home environment, the daily care, feeding, and daily grooming of the cocker.
TRANSPORTATION - We depend on our volunteers to transport dogs from the shelter to our vet for wellness checks, and to foster home. We also need help with transporting dogs to and from events.
HOME VISITS - Perform a home visit inspection for a potential adopter.
EVENTS - Assistance at adoption events.
